To provide a package of ridersharing services which emphasizes rider use, safety, and satisfaction, and results in increased mobility opportunities, less dependence on the automobile, decreased traffic congestion, and improved air quality for all people in the service area, riders and non riders alike.

A Public Hearing to receive input on Island Transit’s Six-Year Transit Development Plan (TDP), 2014-2019, is scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2014, at 9:00 AM at the Island Transit Operations & Administration Building, 19758 SR 20, Coupeville, WA. The TDP will be available upon request. The regularly scheduled Monthly Business Meeting will be held following the conclusion of the Public Hearing. Please note the date and time change. Accommodations will be made available upon ten (10) days advance request for sign language interpreters. The meeting room is accessible and is open to the public.
