As an Island Transit Bus Driver, you are an important part of what keeps our Island community moving. Each day, you will help community members and visitors reach their destinations
safely - by providing fare free, friendly, and reliable transportation that enhances our
community's quality of life.
Driver Requirements
- A valid Washington State driver's license with acceptable five (5) year driving record
- Must must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (Training and Testing provided by Island Transit)
- Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and Drug Test
- YOU DO NOT NEED A CDL to apply - we will pay and train you to drive any vehicle safely
- The use of marijuana and illegal drugs is prohibited at any time while employed by Island Transit
Candidates will be invited to take a video aptitude test to qualify for an interview.
